Come out to Pasadena and do some gardening at the Orange Grove Quaker Meeting House Barn-Raising! Potluck from noon to 1:00pm, work from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
Our goals will be: Pruning trees away from the building for painting; general weeding and possible sheet-mulching; digging a drainage ditch (adding stones to make a French Drain, if we get some); distributing mulch and removal of grass from some areas. We may remove some dying plants and plant some succulents.
Tools needed: We will need shovels, pruning tools, gloves, wildflower seeds, succulent clippings, and wheelbarrows. Mulch and smallish rocks for French Drain also welcome.
Note: All are invited to attend Meeting for Worship from 11:00am to noon. Grubby clothes are OK. There is late seating at 11:10 if you enter through the back of the building through the library. Childcare will be provided in the garage classroom across the courtyard from the meeting house. (Childcare provided from 11am)
