Wednesday Morning Work Party

Throop Learning Garden
Wednesday, March 26, 2014
9:30am–11:30am

Throop U.U. Church
300 So. Los Robles Ave., Pasadena

Hello Gardeners,

With the blooming that resulted from recent rains, the garden this week is possibly the most beautiful that it has ever been!  Come on out for some fresh air and exercise.

We are planning to treat some of the plants with neem oil, process some mulch, pull out nut grass and weeds in a few locations, and do some "terraforming" of the small area north of the Los Robles driveway.

(Note:  If gardeners arrive and don't see me, I may be temporarily inside the church or elsewhere on the grounds.)

Happy Equinox!

Greetings Gardeners:

Several birds are building nests. We have seen many butterflies and moths, and many bees. The wildflowers, sunflowers, and plum blossoms explode with color and scent. Thanks to all who brought this garden to life!

This Sunday we will be planting vegetable & herb seedlings. Also, tryout your penmanship as we add identifying labels on plants.

Work: 8:30 to 10:30 am
