5:00-6:30PM meet INSIDE the store for a POTLUCK dinner. Then gardening 6:30 - 8:00PM, outside, when it’s cooler.

This week the group will be installing the sprinkler system and will continue watering, building the path, piling up mulch on the mounds and creating bonds with neighbors.

A “ruler” was painted on the sidewalk. Flags were installed to outline the snake part of the path. “urbanite” stabilized in the path with mulch, plants watered,  backyard fruit shared, potluck enjoyed.

Permaculture landscape designer and placemaking facilitator Sylvia Holmes will share her project of creating the Free Food Garden right outside of the Arroyo Food Co-op, a partnership project between Transition Pasadena and Arroyo Food Co-op.

Happy 4th of July to All!

Sunday we will water, harvest lots of zucchini and tomatoes, cut flowers, trim, weed, and mulch.  Come on down for a little exercise after all that BBQ and apple pie!
