We have experienced many projects, workshops, and workdays together at Throop Learning Garden. We have learned about pruning, companion planting, California native plants, hypertufa, and so much more. We have an ambitious rainwater catchment project underway. We have enjoyed earth based meditation in the garden.
Now, as we enter autumn, we reflect on what has gone before and what we would like to develop in the future.
Please join us for a garden meeting to plan for the next 12 months and beyond. What kind of workshops and projects would you like to see at the garden? In what ways would you like to participate in Throop Learning Garden to continue to build a vibrant, meaningful community?
The meeting is Sunday, October 12 from noon until 1 pm or so. We will meet on the patio. Throop Learning Garden is at 300 S. Los Robles Ave. in Pasadena. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
