July in our So Cal gardens is hot and getting hotter. It is a tough time to be planting … far better to be PLANNING! What will you be planting, in coming months, in order to make Autumn 2013 your most abundant season yet? Come join us on July 13 as we kick back with an iced tea and dream about autumn. The cool season is potentially So Calif’s most productive season, if we plan it properly.
Soil building is always a consideration (and summertime is a great time to begin those compost piles for autumn planting!). Knowing what to plant when is very important too. We’ll talk about where to get Safe Seeds, and we’ll discuss crop rotation (our crop wheels will be available for purchase too). Bring all your autumn vegetable gardening questions!
